Dress to Fly

Ok, this was such a fun session! It all begins with a parachute.

I found a parachute that was going to be thrown away because a squirrel got to it and chewed holes into it. But I didn’t see a ripped-up useless parachute I saw a dress and lots of fun.

So I immediately took the 26 feet big parachute to a friend to patch it up and make a skirt out of it. I couldn’t wait to get it back to play with it. Once it was ready I called my daughter in law who is also a wonderful photographer in the making (Captured by Sidney) and asked her if she wanted to collaborate and have fun with the parachute. She said “YES” so I made it into an excuse to gather my kids (family) together and told them we were going to the lake to bbq and have tons of food. Of course, they heard food and they came, so while my husband grilled the meat and Sidney and I were down by the water making art or cooling off in the water while taking photos!

I love it when it works out perfectly and I am able to enjoy my two passions in life my family and photography!
